Mostly though I still prefer them starting on the field - at least if you go first - just to get that alpha strike going, or of course if they have Typhoons. However, YMMV as being the fragile little things they are, it can depend a lot on how much your opponents throw at them. This has the advantage that they are not "as exposed" when they arrive in turn two and you can hopefully get maximum benefit from their range and weapons.
