Hey guys, Learn2Eel here with another little quick update before tomorrows' resumption of the Tyranid Tactica. I wanted to ask what you guys have thought of this Tactica series so far, and how it stacks up compared to my other ones. I'm thinking of stuff like the length of the articles, how often I post them up, the structuring of the articles with the different sections, and even the overall quality of them. How has the Tyranid Tactica been helping you guys out, and what has been your reception of them? I'd love to hear some feedback! I post this because I am generally interested for the future of this series and whether any changes should be made. Also, I think tomorrow's article might be rather controversial....In any case, thanks for any input guys! Eel out.
EDIT: Have any other Bloggers been unable to Share their articles? Every time I click the Share button, it goes to the "over-screen" as normal, but the Share window itself never pops up. Any suggestions? I guess I have to share with +Bell of Lost Souls the traditional way!
I've always enjoyed your articles, keep up the rad work! I'm personally really enjoying the new codex though at first I was pretty disappointed I'll admit b/c of a few old units/melee not getting much love. But once I got past that and realized how strong the shooting is for them with the right list I've been having a fun time...I like to think Tyranids have just evolved past melee and into shooty goodness!
ReplyDeleteYeah that has been my experience with them as well, we can't play the mindless melee hordes the way we used to, not in this meta. We've become more of a mid-range gunline army than anything else I've found, one that happens to do melee better than most other armies when necessary.
DeleteI like your new format a lot. It goes into great detail and give you a lot of ideas to work with. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I've found the more I break up each unit into different sections, the easier it is to write each article. I've been saving a lot of time on the articles with both the Space Marine and Tyranid series, even despite adding a lot more information. It's fantastic that they also make for better reading!
DeleteI'm really enjoying the format. It breaks down the units in a very easy to understand way. With the addition of the addition of recommended builds I think you've found a way to give readers everything they could be looking for.
ReplyDeleteI'm really liking the format, it is great to see you guys are as well. Cheers!
