Impatience

You've probably noticed that it has been rather dry around these parts for a while as I explained a few months back, and that's about to change for a short time at least. A huge part of why it is taking me so long to get through the Space Marine and Ork reviews is my antipathy towards them; they've been dragging on so long that I get tired and bored just thinking about them. I want to get on with other reviews and find a format that's right for me so that I can get up to date for the first time in well over a year and provide you with articles centered around updated or new armies in their respective release weeks. Seems a tall order given the current situation, no? Well, here's the rub. I'm done with Space Marines and I'm going to be giving Dark Angels the cold shoulder until every other current codex as of the time of writing has been covered, if only because I've had to review the same large selection of units repeatedly since 7th Edition debuted back in mid 2014. Don't worry fans of the 1st Legion, you'll get your due well before this year is out. That brings me back to my main point and why I'm creating this little stub update....I've already posted up the Helbrecht review for the Space Marine series, but that's not all for tonight. No sir. No ma'am. It took a great deal of impromptu effort but the Space Marine Tactica series is officially complete! Have fun!

  1. I thoroughly enjoy your insightful, well-written reviews. Having been conditioned by the Dan Carlin school of New Media, I don't mind the wait. You go ahead continue to release this high quality content at your own pace. I'll keep reading whenever it comes. Thank you.

  2. The only thing I will say is I hoe there will still be a seven days of glory series as I found that most useful and insightful during 6th ed :)

    1. I was hoping to do it again but I'm afraid I would just be repeating myself far too much to warrant redoing them, and I doubt I could recreate that quality level again for a seven day period. I might do another one in the future but it would probably be for a different faction. Sorry mate!
