The Heresy Has Arrived

Hi guys, Learn2Eel here with a quick update on what is happening in the world of Imperator Guides.


As you may have noticed, I have not really been up to the task of putting out the Vampire Counts and Necron Tacticas that I have been working on. I won't beat around the bush; I've had writers block in particular regard to the two articles I have been working on for either book, and to attempt to continue them at this stage would be folly. Instead, I will be writing up articles focusing on other aspects than what I would usually have lined up; that means Special Characters for Necrons and Magic Items for Vampires will be a bit on the late side. However, the other content from those Tacticas should be making their way to publishing soon enough.

But what I really wanted to tell everyone is that we have finally secured a long awaited copy of Horus Heresy: Betrayal, and so Mr Jax and I will be covering this book in a lot of detail. Or rather, should, in the case of Mr Jax, who is currently dealing with some personal issues that have stymied his coverage of the Apocalypse release. I'm excited to delve into the realm of the Imperium's darkest days, where siblings tear one another apart in a brutal congregation of bloodshed and betrayal. I will be looking at the Heresy Army List in the context first of Horus Heresy battles, and then in standard Warhammer 40000 battles, while detailing the unique benefits and disadvantages of each of the four Legions' represented thus far. Afterwards, I will be covering the dreaded Primarchs themselves, as well as the other titanic constructs of war that accompany them into the vast battlefields of the Horus Heresy.
